An intimate look at one of God's most faithful servants. The study helped me to look quietly and closely at how a man God himself called faithful servant, who in many moments falters, interacted so intimately with God even through sin and rough passages and fulfilled God's assignments and grew and changed and trusted his heavenly father more, The study drew me closer to God and encouraged me to know that I'm loved by my father even as I stumble and to not love hope.
I just finished Crickett's "Journal of Faith" and thoroughly enjoyed the journey! With lots flow between questions and scripture. The questions were not difficult, but you are given some deeper thinking questions that deal with your own walk and helps to strengthen you on the way. I was able to affirm at the end of each lesson things that I accomplished in my study and prayer life that will make an eternal difference as I strive to walk daily with my Lord and Savior! I give this a big thumbs up and hope that you will enjoy as well! God Bless your journey of Faith!
I just finished this study of the life of Moses with a group of about 12 women over an 8 week period. I've never looked so closely at the life of Moses and the journey of the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt to the promised land. I was so inspired to trust God and walk more closely with him even when life presents very difficult trials. I can so relate to the Hebrew people as they consistently grumbled and complained at every trial even though God had repeatedly performed miracle after miracle as he led them to freedom, and I am challenged to have a more well developed "trust" in the face of life's trials.
This is a well-paced study to learn about Moses and his ever growing faith. Very enjoyable, with Scriptures taken from the New Testament as well as the traditional OT books. The study gradually leads the reader to see how even an ordinary man can lead. I recommend this.
I found distracting layout issues on the printed page;sometimes there is not enough space to complete a question, and other pages have unnecessary spaces between paragraphs.
Crickett Keeth’s study of Moses’ journey of faith is particularly relevant to Christian women living in an age where the claims of the gospel are constantly challenged. Each day’s lesson gives us firm grounding in the truth of God’s Word, but it does not stop with the mere accumulation of more information about God. It leads us to think deeply about what the Word says to us personally, stirring up our love for the Lord and our heart longing for Him to change us more into His likeness and to use us as He chooses. By the time we come to the end of the study, our belief that Jesus Christ is who He says He is has been strengthened. We have the same firm conviction Moses had that God’s presence in our lives is the one thing that distinguishes us from the world around us… and the one thing we cannot live without. I have been through this study twice, and both times found it very profitable and challenging. No matter where we are in our spiritual journey, we can never fathom all there is to know and love in our infinite God. This study definitely encouraged me to go deeper in my faith in Him.
